Not just a photo but a PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE! Gone are the days of the formal portrait sittings where everyone wore their Sunday best and sat with a forced smile on their faces. I believe a portrait session should be a fun and enjoyable experience leaving you not only with pictures to display but great memories as well. I offer a relaxed style of photography to encourage natural smiles and actions as I believe this is the way to truly capture the real character of a person. By allowing children to play during the sessions they will become much more relaxed and begin to forget that the camera is there allowing for those unguarded and unposed moments to be caught. Portraits can take place either in my first floor studio in Horwich or at an outdoor location in the surrounding areas. Please allow 1 hour for your portrait session. Your images will be edited and ready to view the following week at the studio. Once viewed they can be placed on the website if you think friends or family may be interrested in ordering from them. As a professional portrait studio all your portraits are fully framed and ready for you to display as soon as you get them home. There are many options for presenting your portraits from individually framed and mounted prints, storyboards, canvas wraps, wall acrylics and albums. Unframed portraits are available as part of a package or with an additional order - they are not available individually. A portrait experience is £50 which is for the creation and preparation of your portraits by myself, this will be payable on the day of the sitting a complimentary 7"x5" mounted print is included. There are other portrait experiences available at Lindsay Ashton Photography including a 'Baby's 1st Year' package, Make-Over portraits, Boudoir sessions and the new 'Shoot / Trash the Dress' location sessions.
